Obituary for Theodore Riley Patchenose

Theodore Riley Patchenose
Theo was born to his parents Eileen and Abel Martin Jr. on Sunday, July 22, 1979, in The Pas, Manitoba.
Throughout his childhood he was a very kind, thoughtful young man as well as a very hard worker. He graduated from grade 9 in Moose Lake then proceeded to continue his education at Frontier Collegiate Institute where he graduated from high school. This is where he met his high school sweetheart and future wife Dana Pronteau and together they raised eight kids; Maximus, Milton, Theodore Jr., Merdina, Michelle, Angel-Sky, Christina, and his baby boy Riddick. Theo and Dana were united in marriage August 27, 2005 in Moose Lake they celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary just recently.
Theo helped his late dad with logging and later worked for the band as a water technician. Then he started fishing until his passing. He taught his boys how to snare rabbits, hunt prairie chickens and he would take them out fishing.
Theo’s favorite past time was camping with his family at the North Arm camp with all his family friends and aunties. Theo and Neil would make bannock, bannock pops, Indian tacos, fish fillets, Pickerel cheeks and homemade fries each summer to earn a little extra cash.
Theo also ran for counsellor and he laughed about it as he only got 33 votes. He had a great personality, was a comedian and always made a person smile. He always had a lot of jokes for anyone. Theo also like to wrestle. He was an outdoors man type of guy. One time he drowned a moose for his wedding feast and he was so proud. He was a good mechanic for all types of machines.
He loved entering contests like “Tootsie” and singing, which he tried once but didn’t place. He was also proud to make star blankets.
Theo was a very good athlete for soccer and foot races. He played hockey for the Winter Hawks from Frontier Collegiate Institute and soccer for the 49ers, Falcons and Young Guns.
Theo had always had special time for his kids and taking them for visits and walking with them. He loved visiting with his grandmothers and dropped by whenever he could.
Theo is survived by his wife Dana; their children Maximus, Milton, Theodore Jr., Merdina, Michelle, Angel-Sky, Christina and their baby son Riddick. Theo is also survived by his mother Eileen; sisters Emma Jane, Claudia (John), baby sister Heidi; brothers Desmond (Emily), Logan (Trisha), Jarrid; grandparents Emma Patchinose and Dorothy Martin; in-laws Sheila and Donald Pranteau; brothers-in-law Donald, Dustin, Dylan, and Dalton; Godparent Steve Ross; Godchildren Meagan Patchinose, St. Pierre McKay; lots of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and equally; and too many relatives too numerous to mention.
